PaperTale first emerged as a logical, but apparently wild thought…what if production could bring a genuinely positive impact environmentally and socially through the concept of traceability? While many more now share this vision, it was Bilal Bhatti (the now founder and CEO of PaperTale) who suggested this after experiencing the corruption and inequalities that occur in fashion factories in Pakistan. With some help from a previous textiles teacher, this idea developed into the concept called PaperTale. From this point, everything that PaperTale would do and design would have this initial vision strongly rooted at the centre.
